TECHNO PRODUCER

 

I grew up in Shetland, a windswept island half way between Scotland and Norway. By day I skippered boats and helped run the family fish farming business. By night I was a psychedelic trance DJ at local clubs.

After doing a fair bit of traveling, I was inspired by long days and nights partying in Goa, where the psychedelic trance scene was in full swing.

​

Meanwhile back in Shetland, a surprisingly hardcore rave scene had taken hold, offering no end of opportunities to take to the decks.

​

Keen to pursue a career in digital music, I left Shetland and headed to London, where he trained as an audio engineer at the SAE Institute and spent every spare minute making beats. 

​

After graduating, I took a detour from music to co-found a boutique digital agency in Chiswick, West London, creating strategies, graphics and video content for brands.

​

A decade-long diversion from my musical roots, in the city, was more than enough. Seeking a change and to get back on track as a DJ and producer, I moved to the wilds of Central Portugal. It’s similar to Shetland, only with sunshine and trees.

​

I designed and built a studio in the remote hills of Central Portugal, surrounded by Eucalyptus forest, where I have a hybrid set-up that’s perfectly geared up for industrial and acid techno. 

​

There I create techno, blasts techno and works on DJ sets for clubs, parties and festivals around the world.
